GraphicsI think about the times I was elevated from the presence of another person, a sunset, or from a striking experience with architectural beauty. Seeing beauty presently before you transcends your mind; it does something to your soul. Every day we have the opportunity to encounter this transcendent spirit. Even in the mundane, my life is accentuated when I appreciate the laugh of my neighbor, or the tall grass in the ditches on the road as I drive to work.
With this work, I explore transcendence in religion, space, and people. My deepest passion is beauty. I search for it, hoping to evoke a deeper spirit, a sense of awe; extending beyond myself and this world set before us.
